About the role
Datadog helps technical teams understand their systems. Increasingly, those teams also need to connect operational data to business context, like customers, transactions, revenue, etc. We are building business intelligence capabilities that let customers bring operational and business data together, explore it with SQL or a spreadsheet, turn repeated analysis into trusted datasets and metrics, and share the result through visualizations, dashboards, and notebooks. This role owns the product strategy and execution for that initiative. You will lead Datadog SQL (DDSQL) and Sheets while shaping new bets in the broader system around them: how customers bring in data, model and reuse it, discover trusted analysis, and move from a question to an answer without leaving Datadog.
